I've been at it again........

Hi... I've been playing with my stamps today..I've dug out the flowery one's that I haven't bothered with much ...flowers have always been 'my thing' when making cards over the years...and as much as I love the cuties..I'm trying to get back to grown up cards...it was my cousin who made me think about this...as she said the other week when she was asking if I had any cards she could buy...when offered darling Tilda..she said 'you can really only send that to a little girl'...well I'm not too sure of that ..but did see her point...so I've been playing...I'm quite pleased with this one...

even though it was after I took the pic I realised that the sentiment was crooked..no don't look !!!
and as for this one...

...yes..I've been at it again... with Promarkers this time...at last I have found a use for them!!!..I've only got a few...so yes I made the DP and then I stamped 'mum' using some Papermania stamps that I bought and hadn't used..and then punched some flowers from the homemade paper and a few candy bits a bit of sparkle and there we have it..my first Mothers Day card....I'm quite pleased with this too....
Its late and I should be getting some sleep as I (at last) have an interview tomorrow...fingers crossed...just hoping that I can get the ink off me fingers!!!!
Night all..
Hugs
Jan....xx

  2. Hi Jan. I love your colour combo in the first card. You did a lovely job with it. I agree with you, Tilda's aren't just for little girls, they are for big girls too. xo Jackie

  4. Lovely cards Jan, both ooze elegance and the simplicity of them is refreshing. I disagree with your cousin about Tilda - aren't we all little girls at heart really?! Good luck with your interview hun. Hugs, Squirrel xx

  5. Two lovely 'grown up' cards Jan - I agree with you Tilda's are for any age but it's nice to have a change from time to time. Good luck with the interview.
