A.B.C. Challenge - J for Jigsaw....DT Card

Hi Guys...well its time again for a another challenge over at A B C .Now its J for jigsaw this week and we would like to see some sort of 'Jigsaw' element on your creations. I used a jigsaw punch and my 'leftovers' of Basic Grey Wisteria DP's and cut jigsaw pieces and placed them around the bazzill cardstock. I think its a great way of using up bits and pieces and shall use the idea again...now as for the image... this week 's challenge is being sponsored by the lovely Lacey at Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber Stamps and the DT were very lucky to receive a stamp from their very new releases which will be available from Friday 11th December and they are also celebrating with a fantastic Blog Hop so why not pop over and join in the fun then... I just love mine..its called Puppy Love...isn't it the cutest....it was a dream to colour....and I finshed with a lovely coffee organza bow and a punched flower...do come and join us this week...there two gorgeous stamps to win!!!....it will be great to see your creations...

Charisma Cardz Challenge - Dreaming of Summertime

Hi All...this is my entry for this week Charisma Cardz Challenge... well it's a very dreary day here and I thought this was just the challange to put some colour into the day. I used Basic Grey Lemonade DP's and I been at the peg stamps again and stamped the edges of the nestie..my Christmas wish list has grown overnight!! lol..as I've added these stamps to it..I have lots of ideas and no stamps to use!!! DB (Dearly Beloved) is going to have to give his paypal account a bashing!!..Anyway..do go and check out the DT creations..truly lovely..and I'll probaly be back late with another card..as a dreary day is a good day for crafting....lol...

Allsorts Challenge #30 - Purple

Hi Guys..well I'm back today with a challenge card..this one is for Allsorts ...now I might have missed the point somewhere as all the great DT cards have a Christmas theme..(do go and check them out) but I'm going to enter it anyway..(mental note to take more notice!!..lol..) The DP's are Basic Grey Wisteria and I had a little play with a set of Tapestry stamps and I have just realised writing this are also called Wisteria!!! I just didn't make the connection while I was doing it..and..again it had to be a Tilda!!!...

More cards to share.....

...and not a christmas one in sight!!!..lol....On first one of Darling Tilda I used Basic Grey DP's..I thought it went well with the 'Something Yummy for your Tummy' Magnolia stamps...I've had these a while and havent really used them...which isnt like me at all!!!

For the next two I used Christmas Tilda stamps..but I think they would do for any occasion...


..and the last one...

I bought this stamp with the view to use it around Halloween and Guy Fawkes Night..but I just got back from hols around that time and didnt have time to use her..I used glossy accents on the toffee apple..I think she's so sweet....
anyway...I have some DT creations to get on with now..so no more playing..must crack on...

My First Easel Card - For Annmaree............

Hi All..this is my first attempt at an easel card and I dont think I'll make another 'normal' card again....lol...I just love this idea...

Now this card is for the lovely Annmaree, whose birthday it is today!!..well it might have been yesterday now as she lives in Australia..lol...anyway..she is one of my lovely followers and she always leaves such kind comments on my blog..and she makes some lovely cards too!!

Charisma Cardz - Challenge #46 - Sketch

Colour Create Challenge - Green Red & White

Another Tilda to share....

Hi All....The Magnolia papers I ordered arrived this morning...and I just had to make a card...I used another image I got from eBay..this one, as I'm sure you all know as they are so popular at the moment, is Christmas morning Tilda...I coloured her with polychromos.....added a little glitter and punched a flower from co ordinating paper and added a little punched snowflake center..and of course I just have to add my favorite card candy from Craftworks. These magnolia papers are so lush..it breaks my heart to cut them!!! lol

Allsorts Challenge - Make something for a child

Hi..This is my entry for this weeks Allsorts Challenge..Make Something for a Child..I got some Christmas Tilda images in the post today..I got them from Ebay..it was a bit hit and miss as to what kind of card they would be on..but I'm very pleased to say they are very good and I bought some more...( going to have to stop this spending lark !!!)..I couldnt wait to colour this little cutie up and although I used Kaisers christmas papers again..I think she will be great for birthday cards as well... I do have prima flowers in stash..but I do like using punched flowers in co ordinateing papers....anyway..the DT over at Allsorts have made some great creations..do go and have a look...

A few more...

Hi all...just share a couple of cards...I made today...I've had the DP for this one for a while now and dont know who makes it!!! the sentiment is by Papermaina..one of their little duo stamp kit thingys..added those gorgeous die cut flowers from Craftwork...wished they did them in everycolour!!! lol...

Next one...

Now this one..was a bit trickier...I actually made the backing paper..I use a distressed pad..Milled Lavender I think..rubbed it over some white card..then I used a snowflake stamp and stamped all over using Versamark watermark ink and then embossed with clear sparkle..then I stamped again using white ink and embossed that with clear sparkle again...then rubbed a bit more distressed ink over again!!..phew!!! the sentiment is a Papermania little duo set again..which I stamped in aubergine coloured ink..in fact I based the card around this. The snowflake in a Cuttlebug die and added lots of twinkles..(gems)...lol..I think it turned out quite well..especially as I dont usually mess about with inks and powders..I'm surprised it didnt end up in the bin..!! or maybe it should!! what do you think?..

Just to share....

Hi again all...I have a few cards to share today. I now have time on my hands..on Friday...after a lot of thought I gave up my job...its a silly thing to do just before Christmas and the recession etc.,..but I just wasn't happy there... the job description was not the job I was doing... my experience and abilities were being questioned and compromised to the extent that I was dreading going to work and lost sleep worrying about it all...in the end ..enough was enough and I left. Now I might have extra time on my hands to craft..yay!!!!..but no extra dosh for stash..boo!! but I cant have it all ways...back to the cards..

I just love these DP's they are by Kaisercraft...I think the colours are just great for Christmas and wish I bought more.:-( I also cut a tree from Bazzil bling as Tilda needed company and I couldn't think of anything else!!! lol...

I just love the new Christmas Magnolia Stamps...I managed to get this one and wanted a couple more but most shops are sold out and are waiting for the next batch at the end of November which doesn't give me a lot of time to make cards...I used Basic Grey DP's for this one and I cheated with some gorgeous die cut flowers from Craftworks..you just don't get enough of them in the pack!!! lol...I'll have to invest in a pointy flower punch..Oh opps I forgot..no more dosh for stash...ummm...one for the Christmas wish list me thinks....
last one...

I just had to use this cute little PB hedgey again..I sure he has a name but I don't know what it is.. I just love him as he is a joy to colour and looks nice and snug in his scarf...the DP's are MME Colourful Christmas. I keep thinking he looks a bit plain...but as they say..less is more...I'll have to remember that when I run out of cash!!! lol...but on the bright side..I do have an interview tomorrow so as one door shuts..lets hope the next one doesn't slam in my face!!! lol...

Just Magnolia Challenge - Sketch by Mina

Creatalicious Challenge # 4 DT Card.....

Hi all....this is my DT card for this months Creatalicious Challenge.....the theme this time is to make something for Christmas and include snowflakes, sparkle and lots of glitter.

I used white bazzil cardstock and embossed it with Cuttlebug 'Snow'. The Snowflake is another Cuttlebug die which I layered with a Sizzix Snowflake die...The glittery background is a sort of plastic..which I found in Hobbycraft..and then I finished it which sparkley tulle and lots of crystals..which look blue in the pic..but they're not!!! lol...do go and check out my other teamies creations and I hope you will join us this month...
