Tilda & Friend Weekly ACT Challenge - Black Grey & White

Hi...This is my entry for this week Tilda & Friends ATC weekly Challenge. Now this is not new for me as I used to make loads of these little works of art, but I just have not showed them on here. When I saw the colour scheme this week I just had to have a go and being Lilypuss Card it had to be The Cat.. lol.. as the leaves give it an Jungle feel I did a bit of doodling too!. The DP is Doodlebug and I finished with small punched flowers and Craftworks Card Candy. Do go and check out the DT's ATC's here they are so cute!!!

Bizzy Becs Creatalicious DT Challenge

Hi...The new monthly challenge, Bizzy Becs Creatalicious has a DT challenge so I thought I would have a go. Its a great sketch so why not check it out here and they have some super Candy up for grabs too!!!

I used my brand new Gorjuss girl for this, isnt she cute? the DP's are Papermania Exquiste which are available at DoCrafts here I added organza ribbon with a sweet little pearl buckle from stash and to the punched flowers I added beautiful slik flowers with pearl stemens from Hobbycraft. I sparkled her wings and the pearl stickers finshed the look. Wish me luck!!!

Allsorts Challenge Week 11 - Dawny P's Sketch with Marshmallows & Chocolate

Hi again...this is my entry for this weeks Allsorts Challenge. Not only a great sketch from Dawny P but the theme is yummy marshmellow and chocolate. The Tilda I used is a Christmas one but she is so cute I hid the holly in her hair with a flower. I coloured her with Prismas but after I put it all together I wanted to give her a shimmery look so I gave Tilda and the flowers a quick wash with H2O's and I'm very pleased how it turned out. Just Magnolia Challenge Week 15 -Sketch by Tab

Hi Guys...well I'm back with me mojo working now...I think what got it going was this fab sketch by Tab over at Just Magnolia...being a great fan of Tabs gorgeous designs I just had to have a go.

I coloured the Tilda cutie with Prismas and the DP's are K & Co. I added raffia for a change with punched and paper flowers. The sentiment is from Clare Curd Signature Range over at DoCrafts here I found the cute little buttons in my stash and added a little glitter.

Sorry I havent been posting for a couple of weeks but I lost a little of my mojo so I thought I would just take a little time out and then have a shop for some new stash as thats what usually get it going again.

In the meantime ...the exciting news is......I have been asked to join the Design Team for Stamping Chic Well I am just so amazed and thrilled to be asked!!! and very much looking forward to working with the other 'chicks'. Just Magnolia Challenge Week 13 - Sketch by Mina

Hi Guys...this is my entry for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge - A Sketch by Mina..and what a fab sketch it is! do check out the DT cards here as they great inspiration as usual. The DP's I used are a digi download with Bazzill cardstock. Punched flowers with paper cherry blossoms and roses and lovely gingham ribbon to finish.

Just Magnolia Tutorial Challenge - Distressing

Now as you all know as I have mentioned it before...I dont 'do' Distressing. I find it all too distressing to distress beautiful papers. But as this is a brand new challenge I bit the bullet and got out my one and only distress ink pad and off I went. I used K & Co DP's and rubbed (ouch) the ink around the edges and then roughed up with me scissors (oooo oooo). I coloured sweet Tilda with Prismas pencils and sansodor and then distressed the edges (oh oh oh). Added a bit of old lace..dont know where that came from..prob from an old pair of drawers!!! lol. Now here's the tricky bit, thought I would be really clever and have a go at stitching. Ummmmm 2 hours of expletives later still no stitching.. but lots of holes where the needle has been and lots of cotton on the floor..does this count as distressing?

Stamping for the Weekend Challenge #5 - Double or Nothing - 2 sketches

Hi..this week over at Stamping for the Weekend they have two fab sketches to follow. Hard to choose which one but didnt have time to do both so chose Donna's in the end. I coloured up a Ketto Fairy for this and the DP's are a digi download. Finshed with lots of punched flowers and Craftworks Card Candy. A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge - Hearts

This is my entry for this week Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge. They would like to see hearts on your creation. Do have a look at the DP cards here as they are great inspiration!!

I used gorgeous 'Windswept' for this. Dp's are Basic Grey. I used a pretty heart border punch and then punched little hearts out of the flower petals. Sizzix leaves and Craftworks Card Candy to finish.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 67 - Stitch in Time Real or Faux!

This is my entry..by the skin of my teeth as it finishes tomorrow!!! I have used a cute little Ketto image..Miss Match I think..I've lost the packet!! anyway..The DP's are Blonde Moments and I have added faux stitches to edges and the punched flowers. Do check out the DT's cards here.

Colourcreate Challenge - Grassy Green, Apple Green, Sunflower Yellow, Lemon & White

What a great challenge!! This week its gorgeous juicy colours and with the option of decorating inside the card and envelope.


I coloured a cute 'Doraline' for this using primas pencils. The DP's are Doodlebug and a freebie I found in stash, Bazzil bling cardstock, punched flowers and a smidgen of ribbon to finish. Decorated inside with off cuts and more punched flowers. Do have a look at the DT cards here

Allsorts Challenge Week 8 - Shaped Cards

Hi Guys..I'm playing catch up this week...been away for a few days and trying to get back into a crafting routine!!!...Anyway this is my entry for this weeks Allsorts Challenge...firstly I have to say a big thank you to the Allsorts ladies as my last weeks entry made the Top Five again...thank you so much!!!!! This week its Shaped Cards..well this took me well out of my comfort zone of the everfaithfull square ones..I chose round!!...I used a cute little Lelo image and the DP is Doodlebug. I punched several circles from co ordinating coloured Bazzill for the big scalloped edge and the ribbon from stash completes the look. Cupcake Challenge # 46

Hi....Well I'm totally thrillled again today as I was one of the top five for last weeks challenge..Thank you very much ladies!! and I love my little blinkie. However, this weeks is sadly the very last Cup Cake Challenge. The theme is Summer and the DT cards are to die for..check them outhere I chose a lovely Tilda and really juicy colours..peach and lime with a touch of lemon in the hope my card will be mouthwatering!!! lol.. The DP's are a digi download and coloured Darling Tilda with Prismas and Sansodor. Just added a punched flower and finished with MS scalloped borders and Craftworks Card Candy and a bit of glitter.

I'm so sad that there wont be another fab challenge....Best wishes to all at 'Cupcake'..

Friday Sketchers Challenge #58

Hi guys..yes I know..you would think that as I'm at home all day at the moment that I would be out there enjoying the sunshine, the thing is, I got a bit toasty yesterday so thought I would have a break and do some cards..I trawled 'Blog World' and came across Friday Sketchers Challenge and as it was a fab sketch I had to have ago...

.... Do go and have a look at the great DT's cards. I used a Gorjuss one and I thought she went well with the DP's which are Basic Grey Wisteria..just loving these..I coloured her with primas pencils and sansodor and tried to give her a 'tied dyed' look!!! Thought I would let the papers speak for themselves and kept it simple..just added some punched flowers with white cherry blossoms in the middle and a few dew drops. I touched up her boots with Glossy Accents and gave her some bling in her hair.

Stamping For the Weekend Challenge Week 4 - Pocket full of ... & Allsorts Challenge #7 - Acetate

One For Two...

I made this creation for this weeks Stamping for the Weekend and Allsorts Challenges. Its a gift card that I tried to make to look like a Cupcake Shop!! (yes I know) To make the image look like a shop window I overlaid a piece of acetate. I tried to angle it in the photo so you can see it but it didnt work, but it is there!!

Inside:

I used Doodlebug DP's (again.. lol) The stamp, I am sure you know by now as I have used it a lot!! is by Stampin Up, cardstock is bazzill and bling from stash!! Do go and see the great DT cards as they are great inspiration. Oh and thank you again Allsorts for choosing me to be the winner of last weeks challenge!!!

Cup Cake Challenge #45 - Sketch

Now I'm a bit late with this one, but I loved the sketch and had to do it. Just love this Tilda..in fact I have just ordered a few of the new 'Pets' range and cant wait for them to arrive!!! Anyway...fab sketch guys..thank you..I used Basic Grey Wisteria DP's..arent these fab!! I going to have to buy another pad I think!! lol. Punched flower..ribbon, pearls and paper flower which I shimmer chalked from stash.

Colour Create Challenge - Week 21 - Pistachio Green, Aqua and Powder Pink & Paperplay Challenge - Sweet Treats

Well I couldnt resist Colourcreate and Paperplay challenges this week.. and I had to use my current fav Stampin Up stamp for these as it goes so well with the Doodlebug DP's!!
