Paper Play Challenge #47 - Star's...DT Card

Hi Guys..this is my DT card for this weeks Paper Play Challenge - we want you to feature stars on the project/card. They can be stamped, punched, painted, coloured, glittery ones... just so long as they are STARS!
I chose a sweet LOTV image..I've been waiting to use this for a while now... I coloured with Promarkers, the DP is Basic Grey...I added a organza ribbon and a star charm and then punched some stars which I glitterd with Glamour dust..finished with a few pearls...do pop over and check out my teamies creations and hope you will join in the challenge..

Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge - Winter - DT Card...

Hi..I'm late as usual... this is my DT card for this weeks challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend...the theme this time is Winter..its very apt now they have forcast snow by the end of the week!!!...great!!!..not!!!
Anyway here it is...

I used a sweet little digi from Heather Ellis..the DP is from the Kaiser Pad I bought at the NEC and the pretty snowflake ribbon was bought there too....she is coloured with copics and I added a lovely snowflake and a sweet little snowflake charm...oh and loads of sparkle..and yes its definiately Brrrrr.....
I hope to be back on Wednesday with my ABC Challnge DT card...

Some to Share and a Challenge or two ...

Hi all..I hope this finds you well and not too cold...I've been a bit under the weather again this week...I cant seem to shake off this cold thing...anyway I have been crafting and have some to share...first up is ...surprize surprize...!!..lol is a cute LOTV image..now I've gone a bit moody with this one....

I wanted to give it a sophisticated look and kept it monochrome...but its covered with glamour dust its a shame it doesn't show up in the pic...the DP is Kaiser a pad that I picked up at the NEC..lovely papers...I coloured her with copics...used a LOTV sentiment and as the DP is quite busy I kept it simple with just a organza ribbon a sweet litte heart charm and some card candy...I'm going to enter this for this week LOTV Challenge Glamour and Glitz..I think it fits...lol

Ok next I have a Tilda creation for Wild Orchid Challenge - Blue Christmas

I used a new Christmas Tilda..she is coloured with copics..the DP is TIM HOLTZ Shabby pad...these are just so gorg...MB was with me when I bought it and as I went into raptures as I flipped through the pages he gave me a look..I said to him..these are not for cutting they are for stroking...its a girl thing...I think he might have me committed soon...lol...anyway...yes I did cut it!!..lol..I added the new gorgeous WO flowers and used loads of sparkle over them...finished with a sweet star charm ...a organza bow...gems and a Craftworks sentiment...

Now since I got my printer..a whole new world has opened up for me...lol I had a little hop around blogland and found Pink Petticote...and bought some of the lovely downloadable papers..and these cute little digi Christmas Penguins..

as you can see I made little SAC 3x3 cards using their papers..I coloured them with copics and added sparkle and gems here and there..you get twelve in the set... I just love them and very pleased how they turned out..while making these I had an idea to make some cupcake ones too...

these are made with a Hero Art stamp set I have..papers are Pink Petticote again...I think they are ideal for when you need a birthday card quick..inside I have put 'Have a Yummy Birthday'..

Yes..yet another of my new LOTV stamps..I told you I bought loads...lol...I just love the look on the bears face..he doesnt look to sure about the medicine does he..lol...I used Craft Creations gingham DP..added a WO Rose and a Craftworks sentiment...oh and a sweet little teddy charm that I bought from the Hobby House stand at NEC.

As I'm such a LOTV groupie...lol..I sent some pics to the LOTV Inspirations Blog and have had two of my LOTV cards posted..I'm very proud...lol...
Anyway...hope you all have a fab weekend...I might be back with some more cards..if I get time..

Christmas LOTV Card for LOTV Challenge & Blog Hop.....

This is one of the new stamps I bought last week from LOTV at the NEC...couldn't resist the cute little puppy...reminded me of my Ollie..mind you there wouldn't be much of the present left if it was him...lol...anyway....I coloured this with Promarkers and I used flock mixed with Glamour dust for her fur trim and the snow...and added some WO flowers and lots of sparkle...I had a little chat with Leila at the LOTV stand...praising her talents...she was so nice... Anyway this week over at LOTV
the theme for this weeks Challenge is 'Anything Goes' and they are having a blog hop to celebrate the release of their fab new stamps...so why not join in..there are some fab prizes up for grabs..!!

Lili of the Valley Challenge - One for the Girls

Well... how could I not enter this after buying 14 new stamps when I went to the NEC last week...lol...isnt she cute...I coloured her with Copics..the DP is by Craft Creations...the doily is other purchase at NEC from Hobby House...I added gorgeous WO flowers including their very new one and some pretty pink gems...do pop over to LOTV Challenge and check out the DT creations..they are all so lovely...

Stampin' for the Weekend DT Card...

Hi...well as usual I'm all behind...this is my DT card for this weeks Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge....Sandie has done a fabulous sketch and we have added a twist..we want to see butterflies somewhere on your creation...Here's my card...

A sweet little Tilda...I coloured her with Polychromos pencils and the DP's are by Prima. Added some WOC roses, MS punch butterflies and pretty pearls.

I've been to the NEC......

...yes we drove all the way from Kent today...I had an agenda..first stand to visit was LOTV...bought loads...all the new ones...they are soooo cute...and then set off to find Magnolia....we walked up and down...I didnt really want to pay £3 for a brochure just to tell me the stand numbers..but as I couldnt find Magnolia..I gave in and bought one...I scanned the pages...well they were listed under Stamps..but no Stand number...ummmm....so I asked a nice lady on the CraftsUlove stand...it would appear that Magnolia wasnt there ....how disappointing was that...so I went back to LOTV and bought some more to get over my disappointment...LOL...met up with my DT mate Sandie who came over from Ireland...we had a nice shop together...then I came home Tildaless...its offical..I am now a LOTV groupie..lol..
If you are going..have a great time..although I was told it was much smaller than previous years...still lots to see...but I dont think I'll do it again...

Some to Share...

Hi...I managed to find some time to make some cards...one for a challenge and one to share...but before them I have to post my DT card for this weeks Pocket Full of Posies Challenge - Winter Bouquet...as you ..we over at PFOP are floral obsessed so we want to see your floral creations... so I hope you will join us this week...I chose to do punched flowers for a change...a stamped image in sight...lol... here's my card....

I wasn't sure what colour to use but this DP decided for me as it has snowflakes on and being pink...well who can resist pink!!..I punch different flowers and also used some Marianne dies and some Craftworks flowers..I distressed a little too... and added a sliver organza ribbon and loads of bling...I hope it give the impression of a frosty morning.
Now I'm a little late with the next creation as Halloween has been and gone..but at the last minutes I decided to make these little bags for the guys at work..

I made 14 in all..I filled them with what I call 'Old Fashioned' sweets..like Black Jacks and Fruit Salad and Rhubarb and Custard....lol..anyway they went down a treat..!!!
My next card is for This week's LOTV Challenge..well you know I just love these stamps ..and I cant wait to get my inky mitts on the new releases on Thurs at the NEC...I'll be first in the que!!...lol..anyway..this week its a fab sketch by Bev...but I lost my way a bit..But I think its ok..

I used BG Olivia DP's and EK Success Border punch...the darling image is coloured with Promakers...added WO flowers and some cute little buttons...but as I said I lost my way a bit..I blame this rotten awful cold I got..that everybody seems to have...It better be gone by Thursday...lol...
and before I go I have my brand new Tilda to show you...

Isn't she just gorgeous....That's another stand at The NEC I'll be spending some quality time at...as well as some dosh no doubt...lol

Playing Catch Up!!!!.......Again!!!!

Hi ..hope you're having a fab weekend...I'm all behind again...not enough hours in the day at the moment..but I'm working on it....hopefully things will be back to normal soon...

I have never been before and MB (much beloved) is taking me...I wanted to go back in March but I couldnt make it..so I'm definitely going on thurs....and my SFTW/PFOP/PP teamie Sandie is going too and we are going to meet up after chatting online for so long!!!..I cant wait to meet her!!!

Hello......

Hi...sorry I havent been around for the last couple of weeks...my Mum hasnt been well and had loads of family stuff to do..but she's on the mend now thank goodness and today I actually got some crafty time so I thought I had better catch up with myself and here is my DT card for the current Challenge over at Pocket Full of Posies - Champagne & Roses - A Celebration card

I used a darling LOTV image..its so sweet..the DP's are bits that I had in my stash..I used my new MS doily punch for the lacey border..added a few gorgeous WO roses..lots of stickles..a lovely organza ribbon..and gems.

Two Special Cards for Two Special Challenges......

Hi I have two cards for you tonight and both are very special...the first one is for
my very favourite weekly challenge Lili of the Valley...I just love these stamps and have loads now..I even have some I havent inked up yet!!! anyway..this weeks challenge is Autumn and I knew instantly which stamp I wanted to use for this...here she is...

I wanted to make this lovely Bouquet Fairy look like an Autumn leaf so I used my Polychromo Pencils with Sansodor as I knew I could get the blending of the colours just so..the DP is from a Prima Pad - Fairy Flora...just the thing for this lovely fairy...I added some WO gorgeous roses and believe it or not but I hadnt even edin my box to see what I had to go with the DP's until after I put the card together and I was so pleased that I found these as they were made for this theme...after I glued them on the card I realised that I forgot to spray them with Glimmer mist..so I took a chance and edthem as they are on the card and prayed that I didnt ruin it...lol..it worked thankfully and then I sprinkled with Glamour dust and boy does she sparkle...lol..I finished with a lush organza ribbon and loads of pearls...do go and check out the DT creations they are really lovely and very inspiring...
and my next card is for PaperTake Weekly Challenge who are celebrating their 3rd Birthday..Yay!!!...Congratulations Papertake Team!!!...they would like you to chose your very fav challenge from the past 3 years...well when I first started my blog back in April 2009 PaperTake was one of the first challenges I plucked up the courage to take part and I went back through my blog to see what the challenge was..and is was Spots & Stripes...so I have chosen this for my card today...

I have used a sweet Tilda and she is coloured with Promarkers...I have used my new MS Vintage Doily punches and I totally love them..added a few WO Roses and loads of bling and sparkll...now the DP's are a bit of a mixture..the Stripey one is from Memory box..but the lovely mint spotty one I havent a clue where it is from as it was a lovely scappy bit I found in my stash.
Papertake are having a Birthday Blog Hop too..so why dont you pop over and have some fun...

Another Tilda...

Hi....I seem to be having a bit of a Tilda week...I have just finished this cute Christmas one and thought I would enter her for the Secret Crafters Challenge and again for Just Magnolia...I coloured her with Copics and used Magnolia DP and white cardstock which torn and embossed and added some Pola White Flower Soft to make it look like snow..I also added loads of gems...for the snowflake i cute one card and one acetate and sprinkles Flower Soft again and added some Magnolia drop gems..

Hi..I have just made another sweet Tilda card and thought I would enter Just Magnolia challenge with it again...she is coloured with Copics..the DP's are MME added some Marianne's flowers..an Organza ribbon and I used the Magnolia Old Swedish Lace die again!!.lol..

Allsorts Challenge - Travel/Holiday

Ok guys..now you are going to have to use your imagination for this...over at Allsorts this week...one of my very fav Challenge...the theme is travel....I chose this 'old' Tilda as she looked very Parisien to me...(ok if you screw your eyes up a bit...lol) well she is wearing a beret...lol...I bought the DP's from Craftworks when I was at Ally Pally..its their brand new range - Oh La La..and its very french..and totally gorgeous...I bought a couple of other bits from the range to compliment the DP's..anyway I thought they would be perfect for this challenge..Tilda is coloured with Copics..I distressed the edges with DI but I think I might have over done it a bit..it is the first time i tried it this way...I added some WOC roses...pearls...sparkle and I used my very new MS punch Vintage Doily... that the MB (Much Beloved) bought me...actually he also bought the matching border punch and I cant wait to have a go at that too!!! Now do go and check out the DT creations over at Allsorts...truly lovely...I am alos entering this for Just Magnolia - Anything Goes...

Basic Grey Challenge - Sparkle

Hi...I'm back today with another challenge card.. this time for Basic Grey...I used the cute little LOTV James who looks like he's having a bit of trouble with his tinsel...lol..he is coloured with Copics...the DP's are from the Jovial pad..I just love these...I added a lush satin ribbon... a gorgeous sparklely poinsettia I found at HobbyCraft and loads of Stickles...do go and check out the DT creations..truly lovely...

Edit...since taking the pic and writing this post..my darling boy...Ollie...the sweet cute innocent Yorkie whose pic is on the side bar..has jumped on my chair at my desk and nicked the card and chewed darling Tilda to oblivion...poor Tilda...

and poor Ollie when I get my hands on him....lol..he is on my bed now with his head down looking up at me with those BIG brown eyes..as if he's saying...'I didn't do it' unfortunately for him bits of brown card are still in his mouth ...bless him (thru gritted teeth)...lol...

Hi..Happy Monday to you all...I managed to make a very pretty card yesterday and i was inspired by the lovely sketch over at Totally Gorjuss...I used a sweet little Tilda coloured with copics..the DPs are by Dream Street and so so pretty..I bought them at Ally Pally and now wish I bought more...lol..I added a Marianne Doily Die Cut..some WO flowers...pink gems and loads of sparkle. I am also entering this for Just Magnolia Challenge - Anything Goes and Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Easel Card...

Finally......

Hi all..I hope this finds you well....and not succumbed to this awful cold that is going around..yes I am one of its victims and so is my poor Mum...and today is the first day that I have felt well enough to come on line... and I have soooo much catching up to do....so better get a hot toddy and or in my case.. a Lemsip..and pull up a chair...lol..
Ok... the first card is my DT card for PlayPlay...this week they want to see a hidden extra on your creation...and this is my card...

I used a cute Pergamano Fairy stamp that I bought at Ally Pally last week...as well as the DP's which is a pad by Heidi Grace..really lovely...the Fairy is coloured with Copics and sparkled..I used EK Success border punches...MS Butterfly punch..and loads of gems..now my hidden extra is in the little pocket on the bottom part of the easel card..inside is the sentiment on a tag..I did take a pic showing a closer look but it came out huge so I wont post that here...I hope it has inspired you to join in the challenge this week...
My next card is my DT card for Stampin' for the Weekend..this weeks theme is Autumnal Colours..now I hunted through all my images and found this little cutie..

the thing is I don't know where he is from..but he certainly looks like he's having fun...I have the same problem with the DP's but the green gingham is Nitwits...I kept it quite simple and just added some card candy and a gingham bow...I know there is a lot of challenges out there with the same colour themes..but I do hope you will join us this week...
I'll be back a little later with some challenge cards...
