Tilda & Friends Challenge - Punch It....

Hi Guys..Well its my final week of being a Guest on the design Team for Tilda & Friends and I have throughly enjoyed it. The theme for this week is to use punches on your creation and I have chosen my favorite flower punch. Do go and check out the DT creations.

Now I also have a little bit of news...I have been invited to join the Design Team for A B C Challenge!!! Whooo Hooo!! I am so thrilled to be picked and cant wait to join the DT with the other new ladies. There is a great challenge this week..E for Embossing...so why not join in the fun...

Home Alone.......

Hi all...well I have been home alone this weekend ..DB has been away footballing with the boys..and I managed to get some 'me time' and got some crafting done..I've just posted some challenges that I have managed to do while I had the peace and quite and... I made this..too..

...arent they just the sweetest...The image is called Misletoe and Mice and when I saw it on Craftsulove's website I had to have it!! (dont tell as I should be saving up for spending money for hols) It was a joy to colour and this is definately going to be THE christmas image for my cards this year...hope you all had a great weekend..and thank you all for your lovely comments..I really do appreciate them..

Sketch Saturday Challenge #69

Hi again...There's a great sketch over at Sketch Saturday this week that I couldnt resist so I used another of my new Sugar Nellie Manga girls..just loving these little cuties and they are a joy to colour..so the DP's are MME.. added a little bit of ribbon with a pearly buckle and finshed with a few punched flowers. I did a little bit of doodling too as when I finshed, it looked a bit flat..and I think the faux stitching solved the problem..do check of the DT creations ..they are truly inspiring..

Colour Create Challenge #27 - Neon Green & Black

Hi..This is my entry for this weeks Colour Create Challenge. Just love these colours so had to have a go. I used one of my new Sugar Nellie Manga Girl..The DP'S are Doodlebug (I think) and I layered punched flowers and wrapped some sparkley fibre around..finished with Craftworks Card Candy. Stampin' Chic Sketch Challenge

Hi Guys...this is my DT card for this weeks challenge over at Stampin' Chic. Its a sketch this time and its a great one..quite simple so I wanted to use something delicate. So I chose a lovely peachy colour with a touch of spring green. After I cut the nestie circle it reminded me of a flower so I punched large flowers and cut the petals off and embossed them to give them a bit of 'volume' and then added a centre and then the butterfly which I coloured with polychromos pencils then added lots of gems for extra bling. DP's Papermania Exquisite (Tm) Papermania (TM) textured Coloured Card. Punched Petals. CCSR Clear Stamps - Doodles. Papermania(TM) Adhesive Stones.

Just A Little Snowman.........

Hi Guys..Just thought I would share this little cutie with you today...I got him all the way from Impressions Obsessions after seeing him on Watermelon Sugar. Please go and check out Katarina's blog... her creations are totally awesome and it was one of the first blogs I stalked before becoming a blogger myself!! lol... The DP is Dovecraft I think..I've lost the packing ..again!!! lol..and I used Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing die for the white bit at the top which you cant see!!! I also added a length of silky fibre but not sure if that works or not..ummm...Anyway... I just love the way he is looking up as if he is about to get squished by a big Snowflake!!! lol..Think he is going to be used a lot on this years Christmas cards!!!

Something to share........

Hi Guys..I hope you will indulge me a little as I would like to share something with you today..back in August I was trying to talk my DB (Dearly Beloved) into having a weeks holiday in France. We had been invited to join my friends at their second home in Brittany...now I have been before but DB hasnt...(its really lovely and being in the middle of nowhere...its ideal for a 'real chill' holiday which both of us could do with)...but he didnt seem too keen. Due to a couple of issues...I gave up my job in January this year, I didnt chose a good year to do it what with the recession and all... and while I have been off work DB has been very supportive...he treated me to a week away in Yorkshire back in March, but for me, a summer holiday this year was totally out of the question...so when we were invited to join my friends, I thought we should grab the chance. Now I spent a whole weekend giving it the hard sell but DB still wasnt having it and I was beginning to think he just didnt like my friends...then he said...'I know you really want to go, but I have to tell you a secret'..(well you can imagine what went through my mind in an instant)...and then he said...'I have been saving for us to go on holiday maybe in October'...well I didnt know what to say...as I felt rather ashamed really for trying so hard and then thinking badly of him. Anyway...take a look at the card below as it might give you a clue as to where he is taking me....

Yep...thats me on the front...in my safari gear!!! lol.. He's taking me to Kenya for a beach and safari holiday!!! I'm so excited!! we fly out beg October!!... going to have a couple of days chillin' on the beach and then a few days on safari and then back to the beach and Indian Ocean!!!
Inside..

I thought I would make the card as a keepsake for me..I based it on the one I made for great nephew Connor a couple of weeks ago...inside I put two 'pockets' which I will put in a couple of precious photos to remind me of my fabulous treat!!...DB has been to Kenya a couple of times before, so he's an old hand at this... but...never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would have an opportunity like this...I am one (very excited) lucky girl!!

Tilda & Friends Challenge - Layer It Up !

Hi Guys...over at Tilda & Friends for this weeks challenge, they are wanting to see a bit of decoupage on your creations. For my 'Guest apperance'..lol..this week..I chose this lovely Tilda from the 2009 Fall collection and I 3D'd her little playsuit. I hope you and see it in the pic.. I did try to angle it a bit. The DP's are K & Co and I added a punched flower, ribbon and dew drops from stash. Hope you will join in this week.

Creatalicious Challenge # 2 - Pink/Burgundy & Green with Ribbon, Lace or Fibres

Hi Guys..well it this is my DT card for this months Creatalicious Challenge. This month we would like to see your creations using the colours Pink/Burgundy and Green and to use ribbon,lace or fibres. The DP's are K & Co.. I coloured the Darling Tilda with polychromos and the lovely Roses and cute heart charms are available at Bizzy Bec's Store.

Tilda & Friends Challenge - Shrink 'Em

Hi All..I am thrilled to say that I have been asked to be Guest Designer for September over at Tilda & Friends and this is my ATC for this week's theme "Shrink 'Em", they want to see you use either shrink plastic, or mini images on your ATC. I have used the darling Tilda from this years Fall Collection which is so cute. I have used the cute little rolling pin that comes with the collection and using shrink plastic made it into a cute little charm which I thought went well with Tilda the Chef!!. The dp is a scrap that I found in my stash but I think its by The English Paper Company and I added some brads. I hope it inspires you to come and join in over at Tilda & Friends

A Card to Share.....I'm back!!!

At last I am finally posting again...I have been busy over the weekend making thank you cards for a friend and I managed to colour this little cutie. My manager at work asked me to make a new baby card for a friend and I just rustled it up tonight!!!. Boy! have I missed doing this and I hope now I've got into a routine I can perhaps find a bit more time to create!..and thank you all for your lovely comments. Oh and little bit of news..I have been invited to be a Guest Designer for September over at Tilda & Friends Challenge which I am very chuffed about..so look out on Wednesday for my ATC.

Stampin Chic Challenge - Glitter!!!

Hi Guys
Here is my DT card for this weeks Stampin Chic challenge - Glitter !! I love this colour and wanted to use it for a simple christmas theme..and I think it turned out quite well!! I used the Doodlebug Sugar coated chipboard alphabet and extra glittered it with glitter glue and then a sprinkle of loose irridescent sparkle glitter for super extra sparkle!! and then added some glittered punched snowflakes...and now everything on my desk including the cat is covered in glitter!!

Anyway here's what I used:
DP's CCSR (TM) 'The Big One' Doodlebug (TM) Sugar Coated Chipboard Alphabet.
Glitz It (TM) glitter glue Irrid Sparkle. Punched Snowflakes, Punched glitter circles and Papermanina (TM) Sparkling Trims

Oh it's been so long........

..Since I posted on here...I'm such a bad blogger!!!..lol..the thing is I've just started working full time again...and now there isnt enough hours in the day to do what I want to do!!! Allsorts Challenge #15 - Sketch by Jules

Hi all...this is my entry for this weeks Allsorts challenge...its a great sketch by Jules this week and she would love to see some torn edges too!! I made this card with my little great nephew in mind...darling Connor is starting a new Nursery School in a few weeks so I thought I would make him a card to wish him on his way.... I have made the insides with a little wallet and will write my sentiments to him on the tag and pop in some money for a treat for being a good boy...(we live in hope!!!)..lol...and hopefully Mum will take a pic of him in his new uniform..yes he has to have one at the new nursey..and then she can pop it inside and keep it to embarrass him when he's 18 !!!..lol

The image is a Sugar Nellie Manga boy...I cant wait to get my inky fingers on one of their Manga Girls..just waiting for more stock..these are just so cute. The DP's are Nana's Nursery (rather apt!!) I used a bit of Bazzill and the buttons are from stash. I added a little glossy Accents on his boots but not sure you can see that in the pic. I had to turn the sketch around to fit the image but I think I'm still within the rules!!

Stampin Chic Challenge - Be Chic!!! - DT Item

Hi all..well its time for another Stampin Chic Challenge and this week its 'Be Chic!' which means you can create a beautiful project with the CCSR product, whether it be a card for a friend, an alter item for your home or even a scrapbook page this is your chance to BE CHIC! So grab those supplies and have fun!

Well I made an everso chic gift bag..its to hold a friends birthday pressie for next week, I have made her a necklace..but forgot to take a pic of that..silly me...anyway she isnt a pinky kinda a gal!! so I chose sophisticated black and white with lots of tulle for the bow!! The paper I used is Papermania CCSR 'The Big One' then I stamped and cut out the matching flowers from the CCSR 'Doodles' stamp set and 3D them here and there on the bag for a bit of texture!! and then I glittered and added some Craftwork Card Candy to the middle of the stamped flowers. The trim is Doodlebug Paper Frills. Now I got the idea from Fellow Blogger Tab who got the recipe for the bag here and trust me..it was so easy to do and I will definately be making more for Christmas!!!! A.B.C. Challenge - A is for...Anything goes....

Hi I'm Back!!..Over at A.B.C. Challenges this week they are back to 'A' and the theme this week is Anything Goes with an added option of Animals. Well this is the cute little stamp I mentioned earler that I was itching to use..I bought it yesterday on a trip to very fav craft shop..The Craft Barn ..its by Tina Wenke and is called 'Mouse on Orange Daisy'..well in pink in my case..isnt it cute!! I'm be going back for more of these cuties... I used Basic Grey DP's, punched flower with paper cherry blossoms, dew drops and a little glitter to finish. Thanks for looking..

Allsorts Challenge - Week 14 - In An English Garden

Hi..now next to my love of Tildas is flowers and over at Allsorts this week the challenge is In an English Garden by the lovely Brenda. What came to mind was typical English Lavender, but sadly no lavender stamp in stash..:0( so the next best thing was to use the colour and a very favorite stamp that doesnt get aired much..and I wanted to keep it simple too. So I used Basic Grey DP's, stamp is Magnolia Large Daisy and I wrapped a little Lavender/lilac tulle around and bowed. I shimmered the petals with glimmer mist with a paint brush but you cant see it in the pic. Do go and have a look at the DT cards here..truly lovely as always...

Tilda & Friends Weekly ATC Challenge - All that Glitters

Hi All and a very happy Sunday to you..the weather here in Kent isnt much, a bit cloudy but still warm..off out shortly for Sunday Lunch..with DH...then got to get back for some serious cardmaking...I went stash shopping yesterday and bought a cute little stamp I'm itching to get going with...Anyway...the guys over at
Tilda & Friends have a great challenge this week...All that Glitters..well thats just my thing so I thought I would glitter up darling Tilda with Candle..I dont know where I got the DP from as it was just a piece I found, I added paper cherry blossoms that I edged with distress ink and then sprayed the whole ACT (yes including Tilda) with Glimmer Mist and then highlighted with Glamour Dust...so all truly shimmery and glittery!!
