Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge DT Card

For Caitlin
Now over at Stampin' for the Weekend we have a very special Challenge this week... it has been chosen by my fabulous Teamie, Kate . The theme for this challenge is

‘Card/project to make someone smile or cheer them up’.
and there is a second part to this challenge and it’s one that I really hope you’d all like to take part in, though just to clarify, this second part is optional. We’d like to see you send your card/project to one of the children featured on the Post Pals website. Even better, make your card specifically with that child in mind.
Please log on to http://www.postpals.co.uk/ and have a look around the site.

Post Pals is an organisation that was set up to create smiles for children who suffer from life threatening and long term illnesses. We ask people to log on to send the children featured on the website ‘happy post’. When a child is very ill, often a visit from the postman can make their day. A cheery card or letter can make them feel less alone and bring welcome distraction from what they go through each day.
To send your card/project card to a Pal and brighten their day, please follow the 5 easy steps on the home page. We ask that you choose a Pal on the website and make a card for them. Please post a photo to your blog of the card and say which pal it’s for then link us to it. Here is the most important bit though… please then post the card to the address on your chosen child’s page.
We have a fab sponsor for this challenge and its Whiff of Joy stamps.

WOJ are kindly donating the 2 stamps below from the 'Happy Mail' collection

So we hope you will join us and make someone smile.

Hugs
Jan

  3. Oh this is really sweet Jan - lovely colours and a gorgeous image too! Am sure it will put a big smile on Caitlin's face.

    Love Lynda xxx

PS I wondered how you got on with AOL - it's such a pain isn't it when things go wrong and it's such a nightmare trying to sort it out via India! It took us 3 phone calls and almost an hour in total for them to finally pass us onto technical support!!! I'm lucky to still be online just now - we keep getting cut off!

PPS I've shown Mark your Card Website - that way I can have handmade one's in future ;-)
